"My favourite Dad joke?" answers Toronto-based comedian Mark Little. "This one. Question: What's brown and sticky?" Wait for it. Brace yourself. Answer? "A stick." The former Picnicface laugh master is back in Halifax and he's reviving his evening talk show Good Morning Tonight just for you.

With Andy Bush, Bill Wood, Everardo Ramirez, Paul Doucette and more, Good Morning Tonight will follow the format as the same series of live shows from summer 2012, which could include zany pizza delivery pranks, comics in drag, weird multimedia and (Funny or Die's) Bush angrily yelling.

"I can't wait to perform with Andy again. In 2012, I was trying really hard to figure out what to do after Picnicface but now I'm a bit more settled and I just want to perform for the fun of it," Little says.

Back in town shooting season four of CBC's Mr. D, Little just stepped off Just for Laughs stages with Paul F. Tompkins this past weekend, as he waits on approvals for new NBC and CityTV pilots, while starting the second season of CTV's Space Riders: Division Earth with Dan Beirne.

"Super-glad to be back," says Little, whose stellar comedy career began in Halifax in the 2000s. "When I'm away, I miss my friends here, Gus' Pub and playing basketball at the Oxford Street courts."

Produced by Stephan MacLeod (Windom Earle), Good Morning Tonight tickets are already selling fast online. The show is also the featured hometown return of Hollywood-based director Bush.

"This is the A-Team of Halifax comedy," says GMT's live-texting couch-correspondent, Doucette. "It is definitely worth coming out to see some of the country's best comics right now."

The one-night only event is a spontaneous mixed bag of sketch, song
