See sidewalk. See rat. See rat rot. Rot, rat, rot.

Remarks: Sorry—we know this is gross. But, hey, there’s a big decomposing rat lying on the sidewalk along North Park Street and it ain’t gonna get rid of itself. Keisha (sp?) at the HRM dispatch centre is remarkably unfazed by our call, which is weird, because we can’t imagine that she gets decomposing rat reports very often. Although, who knows, maybe she does: This town is home to a heckuva lot of rats (we live next to a giant harbour, people. Deal with it). Anyway. Keisha passes our complaint over to Public Works, who apparently have the joy of dealing with municipal rodent disposal. Those lucky rats.
