Perhaps it’s a sign of what a centre-left coalition might be able accomplish in Ottawa. Or perhaps I’m just desperate to find some hope somewhere…
The Montreal Rocket, a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team, have two players—Pierre-Antoine Dion and Nick Layton—who not only share the last names of two of Canada’s federal party leaders but actually often play together on the same line. In this case, Dion plays centre while Layton is the line’s right winger.
In Halifax on Friday night (October 10), Dion scored two goals in his team’s 4-1 victory over the Halifax Moosehead. On one of those goals, the scoring play—as rink announcer Pat Connolly would describe it— was “Dion from Layton.” Not bad. There was a second assist on the play too — from the aptly named Vincent Bourgeois(ie).
Would that it would be that easy in Ottawa!

Sounds like both sides have every intention of settling this amicably and peacefully. Let's all…
Who couldn't see this happening? GRC certainly did and knew they were in their rights…
