20 questions from The Coast
Meet the human behind the politician: We sent the candidates a questionnaire, asking questions that are more personal than political. Here are their unedited answers:
Linda Mosher, a sitting councillor who describes herself as a "centrist," has been most visible in Purcells Cove area development and sewer battles, but finds the new districting plan places her house in a district that excludes Purcells Cove and instead reaches into the western peninsula. So far, she's opposed only by Richard MacLean, who seems to want to revisit the failed "tax reform" proposal.
At one point Drew Moore was talking of running in this race, but he appears to have changed his mind. We're thinking a left/progressive/labour candidate could probably get a lot of support in this district.
