It's been six years of hard work for Josh Hogan and his Diminished Fifth Records. The reigning "Best Record Label" champ in The Coast's Best of Music poll released their 22nd album this year (that'd be Lethal Waters from Black Moor, who'll perform an acoustic set on Friday) and have a few more newbies waiting in the wings already. So yeah, there are plenty of reason's to celebrate. "Over the first six years I feel I really learned a lot from trial and error and persevered during some of the hardest times in the music industry," says Hogan. "The one thing that hasn't changed is the label's ongoing commitment to support east coast metal." Here's to another six! --Allison Saunders
