Congrats on the Herald article

Now that's what I call gutsy, call a spade a spade, take no prisoners, damn the torpedoes, show no mercy, I-don't-care-whose-feathers-I-ruffle, in-your-face journalism.

To the editor,

Lawrence Martin wrote in the Globe and Mail ("To save journalism," Mar. 19) that "Journalism got soft and corporate."

I emailed him and recommended he check out "Victims of the Herald" (Mar. 19) by Stephen Kimber in The Coast.

I've had another look at the article. Now that's what I call gutsy, call a spade a spade, take no prisoners, damn the torpedoes, show no mercy, I-don't-care-whose-feathers-I-ruffle, in-your-face journalism. Congratulations.

With a few more Stephen Kimbers, Canadian journalism would lose its cover-your-ass ennui. Circulation would go up.
