Three wacky dudes with a passion for comedy, independent filmmaking and playing video games is how co-creator James Lewell describes the Garanikor-branded short films that he produces with friends Brady Lindsay and Alex Deveau. True, there are no shortage of Metal Gear Solid parody videos up on YouTube, but Garanikor’s objets d’art are filmed right here in Halifax. So that makes them better somehow, we like to think.
