There’s some pretty steep artistic competition out there in our creative town, but Nick Brunt handily took this category for the second year with his incredibly detailed illustrations and paintings and all things woodsy. Brunt is a live painter, a Coast cover artist and perhaps most importantly of all, owner of a great imagination. Brunt’s work looks like tiny fragments of another world—rustic cottages and campsites, tiny homes on stilts on the water, cartoonish, alien inhabitants languishing, puzzled, in the woods. It all makes for some captivating images, and Brunt’s won gold in your hearts yet again.
