Carnegy Animal Hospital

The new addition to repeat Best Veterinarian winner Carnegy Animal Hospital this year, to add to their collection of high techerie---ultrasound, radiology and orthepedic equipment---is laser surgery. “Declawing cats has become much more humane,” says hospital administrator Mary-Clare McLaren, who points out that two advantages of the laser are “no pain and no bandaging.” The hospital is also having a fourth veterinarian come on board, from Ontario, a dog breeder with a strong interest in reproduction, to help out all the show animals and their humans. 7 Langbrae, 457-1575
