Vegetarians and vegans can participate in the donair craze, too! A seitan donair is one of the entrees in the light fare section of this innovative menu. Winner of multiple Best Vegetarian-Friendlies (and the 2010 award for Best Use of Local Ingredients), the Wooden Monkey has long been a favourite of animal-conscious eaters. Try the sweet apple salad or the spicy vegetarian stir-fry. End your night with a slice of the chocolate tofu pie, the signature dish! There’s also lots of stuff for carnivores, too, so everyone’s invited.
