Daniel's Tailor Shop & Drycleaning

The family business has had locations all over Halifax for the past 40 years, though has stayed put in Park Lane since the building went up. Richard Daniel, manager and tailor, says he was taught everything he knows about the business from his father, who started it. “I went to Dalhousie and took costume and stage design,” says Daniel. “But it doesn’t pay the bills.” For him, the best thing about being part of the family legacy is offering “fine tailoring and quality work at a low price” to men, women and children.
