The Gorsebrook remains the place to be if you are a student at St. Mary's University, having won the Best Student Hang honour many years running. "We still have amazing open-mic nights," says Brianna Koski, who manages the place with Ryan King. She adds that Thursday theme nights are still popular---including "Anything but Clothes," "Blackout Parties" and "Tight and Bright," which encourages patrons to wear their most glitzy '80s retro clothes for the occasion---as are any of the evenings when the Huskies football team is at home.
