Chef Darren Poirier’s wraps are so yummy they’ll make you sing—literally. Poirier charms visitors to his stall at the Seaport Farmer’s Market with his serenades, Food Network-worthy personality and, of course, delicious offerings. If the name didn’t make it obvious, Wrap So D specializes in made-to-order wraps that use the freshest ingredients, which are locally sourced whenever possible. “We have some secret ingredients that we put in them to make them very tasty,” says Poirier before joking, “It’s not salt.” He says of the 160,000 wraps he has served in the past nine years, the Chef’s Special, Western and Garden are the most popular. Make sure to try the stall’s famous omelettes as well, and if you’re at the market on a Sunday, the cinnamon buns are a must-eat treat.
