Owned by the Bishop family since 1760, the Noggins Corner Farm is nestled in the fertile Annapolis Valley. With 175 acres of orchards and 80 acres of crops, it’s easy for this family to live by their motto of “Eat local, buy local, support local.” Despite this city having a little less grass and a lot more concrete, now Haligonians can, too. The Noggins stall at the Seaport Farmers’ Market overflows year-round with apples, peaches, plums and raspberries for those looking for a juicy bite; and sweet corn, squash, pumpkins, cucumbers, peas and peppers for those craving heartier fall fare.
