Gold winner, Jenn Grant.

Gold Winner Jenn Grant

Silver Winner Joel Plaskett

Bronze Winner Jessie Brown

Through her risk-taking, goosebump-raising songs, Jenn Grant has proven herself devoted to beauty. Fans rejoice: Grant’s newest EP, Clairvoyant, is gearing up for European release, available at her local shows and through her online store, touring will happen organically and a new full-length album will float down to earth like a bright red maple leaf in the fall. How Grant crafts her award-winning songs is just as romantic as the songs themselves. “I sometimes like to listen to my favourite records for awhile, in a camper trailer beside my house, while drinking tea and snuggling in blankets and Labradoodles, sometimes dancing, sometimes strumming, just before writing,” Grant says. “I sing into my phone the first ideas, over and over again until a song happens. Over and over and over again.”
