John W. Doull defied all laws of gravity and expectation this year in somehow finding the room to cram a few extra shelving units in an already busting-at-the-seams space. Miraculously, it was just enough to get almost every last one of those piles of books off the floor. And you thought it couldn’t be done. We thought maybe we should hold on to JWD’s fifth best second-hand bookstore plaque for him, but Doull’s always seems to be able to fit more in.
