Mainstreet has finally toppled the Information Morning dragon, just as host Stephanie Domet steps down after seven years behind the mic. “We have an amazing team over here,” she says. “We’re kind of scrappy underdogs, even though we’re at the public broadcaster.” Domet says she and her team have always tried to be ambitious and go the extra mile. “Our eyes are definitely bigger than our stomachs in what we can accomplish,” she says. “We’re hungry. I guess you could put it that way...sometimes literally.” Someone at CBC better buy a big farewell cake for your host, Mainstreet.
