BJ Burke is dedicated. His alarm clock goes off at 4am so he can be on the air every weekday morning at 5:30. You often see him out at night hosting gigs or community events. And he’s not a big coffee drinker. So is he Super-radioman? “It’s the two-sleep routine,” he says before his first noon-hour laydown. A multiple nominee for Canadian Radio Personality of the Year, Burke says the key to his multiple Best of Halifax wins is that the Q104 Morning Crew offers “a lot to a wide gamut of people. It’s accessible and entertaining and we play a lot of good music.” And people sure do love that Rant Line.
