Halifax Public Gardens

Gold Winner The Public Gardens

Silver Winner Point Pleasant Park

Bronze Winner Halifax Commons

“Jolly good!” responds The Public Gardens when we notify it by telegraph that it has won the gold. “I feared I may have let people down with the unfortunate demise of Momma, the goose, so I tried to keep my flora in impeccable upkeep this year.” No one actually counts how many people enter the manicured Victorian garden, by it seems more popular than ever, as more people spend lunchtime there, lovers stroll the lanes, sun worshipers bathe and high school grads do that thing they do. Our favourite part of the Gardens: the statue of the Donair Goddess.
