Sonic kept its nose to the grindstone this year, booking bands like Hey Rosetta!, Death From Above 1979 and Black Label Society in venues all over the city and “Last year was really overwhelming with shows everywhere from The Carleton to the Garrison Grounds,” says Sonic’s Erin McGuire. “We’re doing our best to continuously branch out in different directions and felt the love for comedy, public speakers and every genre of music.” Of course the question on everyone’s concertgoing lips is who is coming to town next. I pressed, trust, but Sonic kept their cards close to their chests, “You never know who we might bring next so keep an eye---or ear---out.”
