“A lot happened in 2011 and it was a great year for Sonic Concerts,” explains Sonic’s Erin McGuire. “We’re fortunate enough to work with a lot of amazing local talent and continue to expand with more international acts. It’s important to us to have something for everyone and we aim to have a diverse range of shows.” McGuire mentions Kevin Smith as one of the definite highlights of the past 12 months, especially given the filmmaker and raconteur just keeps coming back. Sonic also helped bring NOFX, Dropkick Murphys, Matt Costa, The Sheepdogs, Matt Andersen and City and Colour to play for us lucky people.
