If your tastebuds don’t freak out in this store, your other senses surely will. “Usually the first word when they walk in is ‘wow,’” says Lunchbox co-owner Jeremy Smith. Circus sideshow-inspired, this confectionery is zany to the max. Once you get over the store’s blinding colourfulness and overpowering sugar scent, you’ll realize just how much candy this humbly sized shop holds. Smith says the Lunchbox receives daily orders of the newest, rarest, wackiest treats—so much sugary goodness that the store has to put products on rotation. Space won’t be an issue at its newest location, though, which is set to open in an undisclosed western Canadian city on July 1. Now the rest of the country will get their fill.
