Point Pleasant Park

The well-tended paths, the grand, Hurricane Juan-assisted views---70 percent of the trees in the park were pulled down in the 2003 storm---and the sound of the breeze through the leaves all make Point Pleasant the destination for runners, walkers, strollers and dog-walkers. It’s a social event for most, since it’s hard to head down there on a typical weekend without running into someone you know.
