With a full week of awesome music and comedy, Halifax Pop Explosion continues to be the city’s best music festival, an honour that executive director James Boyle doesn’t take for granted. “There are a lot of great events here. We get excited about Jazz Fest and the Atlantic Film Fest, among others, but we really connect with the Coast audience,” he says. “We put a lot of work into programming and we put in a lot of thought and research, and so it’s also due to the hard work of the team that makes the festival the best it can be.”
