I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Specifically, we’re all screaming for Dee Dee’s Ice Cream. Last year’s runner-up has stolen the show. Dee Dee’s Ice Cream takes the cake with their high quality frozen treats. “I think the ice cream is really, really high quality. Fresh, real fruit. Real nuts. We use organic raw cane sugar,” says owner Ditta Kasdan. With about 12 to 14 flavours in the summer, the small shop on Cornwallis Street is going to be drawing in the crowds. Heck, they’ll be lining up around the Common for this one.
