Gio is the first to take home the gold in one of Best of Food’s newest categories, Best Hotel Restaurant. Congrats! Owned and operated by the Prince George Hotel, Gio sets itself apart from other hotel restaurants with its classy decor and stunning food presentation. If you ever build up the nerve to cut into such beautiful works of plated art, you’ll find it tastes pretty darn good, too. With a wide selection of unique offerings, from tomato horseradish jam to Japanese curry bread, Gio is sure to get foodie tongues wagging. Its most popular lunch and dinner items include a Kobe beef burger, Brussels sprout salad, roasted Nova Scotia lamb and salmon cured in maple syrup with lots of yummy fixings.
