Rouge Fatale expands her reign this year, winning gold not only as Best Drag Performer but also in this new BOH category, Best Haliqueer. After an exciting year performing her show to great crowds at Casino Nova Scotia’s Paradise Buffet, she’s “blown away” about her wins. “To me, Halifax has always been home and I just adore everything that it’s about,” she says. “It’s so amazing to see drag helping open up the queer community in our city and to watch the lines of queer and straight communities blurring.” With a New Year’s Eve show she’s already looking forward to and talks of a third season at the casino, Ms. Fatale doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon---thank goodness.
