Neon Dreams’ DJ Corey LeRue loves the energy that comes with the electronic genre. “There’s something about the way electronic music works with builds and with the overall vibe,” says LeRue. According to him, Neon Dreams used to be a very EDM-focused group, but they’ve branched out to incorporate more pop into their style. “I think that us making that conscious switch has been for the better for us, musically.” In the last year, Neon Dreams has been working to get its name known across the country. But for LeRue, the love from Halifax is still important: “I think having hometown support is always a solid foundation.”
