P’lovers’ Park Lane store has a simple recipe for success that seems to have struck a bell with Hali sensibilities: enviro-friendly products like reusable diapers, locally and home made products like clothing and soap, eco sensitive books, etc. The name, incidentally, refers to both “planet lovers” and “piping plovers,” Nova Scotia’s endangered beach birds. New in the store this month is a bamboo cutlery set, wooden children’s blocks, Ecover brand cleaning supplies and, perfect timing, bamboo scarves.
