This new kid ain’t no shy guy. New on the scene, The Middle Spoon didn’t waste much time inspiring Best of Food voters since it opened last year. But hey, what would you expect from a restaurant dedicated to delicious delicacies? Only serving drinks and desserts, these guys have got it down to a science. “I’ve always believed in making things fresh,” says pastry chef Michael Ross. Individual peanut butter mousse cakes, chocolate lava cake and sticky toffee pudding? Yup. We’ll take a big (middle) spoon, please.
