It’s a prime place for holiday shopping—or shopping of any kind—and a great place to go to appreciate hardworking local talent. “There is an authenticity to a handmade object or work of art that you can feel when you pick it up and touch it,” says Crafter Alissa Kloet, the maker behind Keephouse. “Unlike objects made for a mass market—there is a personality that's present.”
