Your Father’s Moustache's clubhouse sandwich this year joins The Coast's Best of Food Hall of Fame, where the category will be taken off the ballot and YFM will, for all intents and purposes, own it.
The decision-making around the Hall of Fame entrants requires much discussion every year. It's partly about the repeated wins in the category, but we also look at the number of votes, and whether the category is competitive. Some establishments simply and consistently dominate. In the end, we have to make an editorial decision. We've been doing the Best of Food readers poll for 10 years. We can make the call.
