Hot dawg! Jerry Reddick sure knows how to quell students’ stomach rumbles. More commonly known to Dalhousie students and staff as The Dawgfather, Reddick is considered by many as a fixture on campus. The hazy smoke of his barbeque draws a constant stream of customers to his small set-up outside the Student Union Building. One man and one grill perform all the magic: sizzling sausages, phat boys, veggie dawgs and burgers to be piled high with a wide assortment of toppings and drizzled in any number of mustards, ketchups and hot sauces. (Yes, those are plural.)
