Burrito Jax has snagged the best burrito spot for the second year in a row, and there’s a simple reason why their burritos are so darn good. “It’s natural, freshly prepared, good quality, great tasting food,” says owner Gordon Delano. “No preservatives. We don’t use stabilizers. It’s just real food.” The small shop has been slinging out their trademark burritos from its Blowers Street location for years, but some serious changes are underway. For the past year, Delano has been hunting for a bigger location without straying too far from his current home. He’s also opening two new locations, in Lower Sackville and Burnside. With more space will also come an expanded menu, including quesadillas, gluten-free burrito bowls and a few more surprises Delano wants to wait for you to see yourself.
