Best Bartender

“I wouldn’t say I’m really the best at anything,” says the modest McLean about his skills as a bartender. “I’m just consistent.” After about seven years working at Mexicali Rosa’s, being consistent has earned him the appreciation of the staff and the ownership. “I do make drinks well, I serve well and I’m a supervisor here too. There’s more to bartending than just making delicious cocktails.” And he says the new location for the bar and restaurant---down Spring Garden, in the former Thirsty Duck---is really working out. “The patio is outstanding.”
