The north end’s newest addition welcomes you with an understated exterior and a shockingly vibrant interior that is as warm as it is modern. “We surprise people,” says Peter Goneau. “There’s just a ‘wow’ when people walk in and see the size and scope of it.” Goneau says credit is due to co-owner Rachel Knox for constructing and fashioning the restaurant to be of high quality without intimidation. The folks at the Brasserie are a collaborative bunch so the hip and cozy vibe wouldn’t be there without the help of the whole team. “I love my team,” he says “We work hard, but always make sure to not talk ourselves too seriously.”
