Halifax’s eight-piece jazz, soul, funk and R&B band, together for 18 years now, exists precisely so you can move your body to music’s most danceable jams. “Having such a large band allows us to tackle material that most bands can’t,” says Jeffrey Mosher. “Our horn section sets us apart from other acts on the east coast and our top-notch rhythm section makes us a desired back-up ensemble. We’re pumped to be accepting gold.” After eight years at the Seahorse, the ’Tones are moving to Bearly’s every Thursday starting November 12.
