Billie Dre & The Poor Boys may have forsaken us for Toronto, but that really only adds to the possibility of them making it big, right? “We’ll just have to see but we can tell you it certainly helps to cut your teeth in such a gnarly city as Halifax,” they say. As for their garlic-laced release show being the biggest party Halifax saw last year, they credit the fans. “That night was honestly one of the greatest nights of our lives, the vibe, the garlic fingers, the grease, the sweat, the whole thing. Halifax should win best place to have a live show (can we make that a thing?)”
