Re: “Talay Thai Dartmouth

Thanks The Coast!

I would have never known of this place had it not been for The Coast. I just moved from Toronto to Cole Harbour a few months.

This is my favourite thai restaurant in HRM – I had tried all Thai Restaurant in HRM.

I had the spicy Thai noodles Chicken, the one with basil, sorry I can't remember the name, it's the one that's above pad sei yui on the menu, seriously, it's the best Spicy Thai Noodle Chicken i had in HRM.

Pad Thai is great, best Pad Thai ever, most Pad Thai i had at other places were too sweet and too sour, Talay Thai sweet and sour flavour is just right amount, and the noodles were soft but still chewy enough.

Panang curry, oh gosh, where do I start with this one, I only had one bite (was my friend's dish), but this totally changed my opinion about curry, I think I like curry now, I never liked curry before.

I had the coconut soup prawn, and it's pretty good, very rich but not too sweet. I also liked the shrimp roll, you can't go wrong with that.

Service was good, our waitress was very busy but she did a good job handling the whole dining area. The washroom floor was sticky, and this is the only thing that annoyed me a little, but really, with the amazing taste of the food, I really don't care about anything else.

I'm so grateful that I had moved to Cole Harbour , so I can visit Talay Thai Dartmouth all the time!
