Everyone has personal choices, perhaps OP's brother should have warned this bitch to keep her mouth shut on her strong views, if only out of respect for his mother who obviously put some caring and some work into a nice meal and then invite family and friends to enjoy.
For this "bratty guest" to behave so rudely is unacceptable.
There seems to be a lot of people who have all the answers, are so righteous in their thinking... yet lack empathy for those who aren't/or don't think just like them.
...this brat may have a future as a Westend Halifax Councillor

Re: “How Halifax's concert scandal played out”
Why wouldn't Halifax have the Gillett Entertainment offer, a legitimate concert promoter who would bring a "wanted" band in favour of the local good ol boy promoter who is little more than an opportunist with a Billboard magazine in his hand.
Kid Rock "barely" even received any airplay on local radio.
In the lust to "keep up with the Jones'" (Moncton), Peter and crew got sucked into this losing proposition, in which the city was on the hook for, based on the low ticket sales.
However, wasn't it true that Harold McKay's Power Promotions was "giving away" tickets shortly before the Black Eyed Peas show?
Wouldn't this be in conflict to the low ticket sales guarantee that the city agreed to?
And why does TCL's name come up every time there is some kind of boondoggle with sports or entertainment.
And TCL will get a new Convention Centre, while the taxpayer is now subsidizing the existing one!
Would TCL be in charge of the new stadium, if it's to be built?
TCL seems to be living the good life and not be accountable to anyone, although I'm told it answers to the province, the minister in charge doesn't seem to have a problem with the practices of this entity.
Of course it's the taxpayer who loses here.
I think it's time for the province to do an audit.
And what sort of structure does Moncton have for attracting big name acts to their city?
Couldn't Halifax steal a page from their play book, and get rid of TCL and the shady sponges that work for it.
And now Halifax is talking Stadium?
This is a foolish proposition when one considers how many incompetant mistakes have already been made and how our city council can't even agree to allow a beer company sponsor the skating oval.
I have absolutly no faith in the present city council, and bureaucrats involved that this will be anything more than another boondoggle which the taxpayers will be on the hook for.
Is it worth building a stadium for FIFA Womens Soccer?
Lets just wait until we have a new council, one that considers it's electorate, at the very least before we even consider a stadium.
