I feel bad for Brindi being tied into Tim Bousquet's weekly bloviating. It makes me want to bite someone, too.
Really? An academic (if not self-described, then self-infatuated) calls universities "the only successful industry" in NS?
Like coal miners once did in Cape Breton, I suppose. Or bankers do on Bay Street.
Like attracts like, especially amongst assholes who can't smell their own.
Perhaps exporting Ms. Penney to, say, The Annex in Toronto would encourage more young people to want to stay in NS.

Re: “Mo’ Better blues”
As long as folks are reading an' shit, go pick up Stewart Brand's "An Ecopragmatist's Manifesto" if you want to have your eyes opened.
Rather than listen to people here who only got concerned about climate change after "an Inconvenient Truth" came out, you may want to read what a true environmental pioneer says (and one who can put the socialist poseurs of The Coast to mumbling shame)
