I think this posting might be the biggest grammar disaster I've ever seen on this website.
Thanks for the pointless and needlessly offensive conjecture, Timmy.
Scytl underbid Intelivote by $300k. If the city had awarded the contract to Intelivote anyway, I'm sure people would be screaming about it from the other side.
Furthermore: basing a story around the primary source of a guy who has been disgruntled for *months* over the fact that he didn't get this contract? Shoddy.
Also, the name (from the new menu) is no longer "Tomavino's [Cellar] Ristorante" but "Tomasino's Pizzeria." Has apparently reverted to the pre-sale name (happily).
Tim, information isn't quite correct here. Vacon sold the company assets in 2008; the new owner re-opened shortly after the 2010 fire but closed the business down earlier this year. My understanding is that Vacon re-acquired some or all of the business back and Galaxy invited him to re-open in the old space. He has not been idling the business since 2010 because of the fire.
This is going to be a smash as soon as the good weather kicks in. Mark my words. There's really nothing like it downtown, and being situated across from the future library and next to two huge new developments on Clyde St. isn't going to hurt in a couple of years.
