Good for you, Tim, for telling smug and complacent Nova Scotians exactly what they do not want to hear.

Nova Scotia is a Western Debt Slave, just like those poor individuals who visit those Loan Shark Payday Stores once a week. (What about those, NDP?) Proof of this is the bonus Offshore Gas Billion a few years back that went right to pay down debt, the banks and Stevie Harper wouldn't even let Deadbeat NS touch a dime.

And what about the millions of NS Healthscare dollars that go to Drug Racketeers like PFIZER? More natural health, better nutrition would mean millions more spent in this province rather than going to criminal multinational "health" corporations.

Profligate Nova Scotians can dream on about an endless Debt Pit to finance World Class living while producing Third World Income. However, it does have a Bottom. Think Iceland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, etc. Dexter & Co. are just digging the Hole deeper to line their own pockets and those of their families, supporters and contributors.

PS Looks like one of NS recent poster boy techo Welfare Bums is in trouble. RIMM may go the way of the dodo or is that doodoo?

Thinking Nova Scotians should look about them, as their remaining nat gas goes South to their NE competitors, and ask: what did we get for our $14 BILLION DEBT, rising by the minute.

And, by the way, the long predicted CDN RE crash has already started. Get ready for some Hardscrabble, Nova Scotians!

Are they fracking for natural gas in Sussex, Irvingland or elsewhere in the Maritimes?

"Hydraulic fracturing or fracking is a means of natural gas extraction employed in deep natural gas well drilling. Once a well is drilled, millions of gallons of water, sand and proprietary chemicals are injected, under high pressure, into a well. The pressure fractures the shale and props open fissures that enable natural gas to flow more freely out of the well. Horizontal hydrofracking is a means of tapping shale deposits containing natural gas that were previously inaccessible by conventional drilling. Vertical hydrofracking is used to extend the life of an existing well once its productivity starts to run out, sort of a last resort. Horizontal fracking differs in that it uses a mixture of 596 chemicals, many of them proprietary, and millions of gallons of water per frack. This water then becomes contaminated and must be cleaned and disposed of."

Build those dirty, dangerous LPG terminals in the Maritimes to feed the Northeast Beast. Say how are those LPG plants coming along? Wasn't one supposed to go right downtown in IRVING, New Brunswick?

In any case, the US Business Racketeers (see PHARMA PFIZER's latest conviction for Racketeering) are always ahead of the Rubes and Puppets running NS.

I visit Bridgewater usually once a week. When there, I park my car and walk about to do my business. Very few others do this. It is drive, drive, drive. In addition, that town is going strip mall culture. Big shopping center with WMT and all the other unhealthy "amenities" and a road leading to it that is going strip mall. This is called Progress!

One other feature of the NS rural landscape down here is Ride'em mowers. Folks just love riding these gas guzzlin' beasts about getting no exercise. Well, maybe lifting the gas can to fill up. This to pretty up mostly very arable land that could be used to grow nutritious food. After the Riding, it's off to town to drive about purchasing Industrial Food imported from thousands of miles away.

So, people drive about, do not get exercise and the health care costs continue to go up. Good for Big Pharma and all the suppliers to the Health Industry.

Meanwhile, the Double Dipping Politicians are trying to figure out how to cut health care costs and stimulate the economy!
