First time at this restaurant. Stopped in for lunch on a cold Wednesday. The two of us tried the lunch pasta special - a "deconstructed" spaghetti Carbonara. Absolutely fabulous! Perfectly cooked pasta in a light creamy parmesan sauce topped with a mound golden caramelized onions, followed by a generous sprinkling of thick, smokey bacon pieces and freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and then, on the very top, a perfectly-cooked soft poached egg that trickled down over the pasta when the yolk was pierced. Preceded by several slices of baguette and a small dish of good quality olive oil and a couple of glasses of the house white, we had an excellent, and very satisfying, lunch! The friendly waitress and chef and the funky/cozy/euro decor made it even better.
