I love PG's! Their chicken skewers and greek salad are very good, and I crave their homefries at least once a week. Good clubhouses as well. Staff are very friendly and remember their customers. Ray's is also very good. This is not the place for atmosphere, but good for a quick bite at a reasonable cost when you are on the run.
I love the Great Wall, we order a lot from work and visited for lunch this week. The owners are very friendly and accomodating, I brought my daughter there for the first time one night as they were closing and they still made her some food. I always find the food fresh and the spring rolls are always done perfectly, with fresh, crunchy veggies. Sure the decor is a bit tacky, but the food makes up for it.
I took my Mom here to celebrate her birthday, there were only a few tables full, atmosphere is nice, once you are inside, you wouldn't know you were at a hotel. We were a bit disapointed that we were not told until we placed our orders that they were out of Striploin Steak and then when our server checked with the Kitchen, they only had one Filet left, which I found a bit pricey. As they bring free range beef in from Martock Glen Farm, I can understand them running out on a Saturday evening, but would have been nice if she had mentioned when we were seated. We ended up going with Veal Zingaro and Chicken Bongoustaio, which were both very good. We had a warm spinach salad and brushetta as appetizers and Chocolate mint mousse and a Cafe Italiano for dessert, which were all very enjoyable. Just over $100 for the two of us, including one drink each. Attentive service, great place for a quiet dinner.
Looking for a great steakhouse
