I agree completely! I have purchased glass from the shop I believe you are talking about on a couple of occasions for my various project. The service has been nothing but excellent...and no, I don't work there.

When will Halifax recycle plastics other than #2 and #1? How will the "garbage police" know when your bag contains plastics #5 which are not recyclable here as opposed to plastics #1 or 2? Will the simply tag each bag because it contains plastics?

8am is too late!!! I'm there by 7:15am most Saturdays...it's blissful. Fewer people, better selection. Here's an idea: tell everyone it opens at 8am but let those who want to get there for 7!

Very good meal. The Tuna Nicoise was very good. The Pork chop very tasty. The mashed potatoes however were very gluey and not very appetizing.
The service was good. Still not sure why no one bothered to go and buy wine to replenish their supply. Only 3 bottles of red wine were available! The NSLC is open on Saturdays, and so are the private liquor stores.
