I did not work or help or advise Waye Mason or his campaign. That is categorically false, a flat out lie.
russ williams-- I had to delete your comment, as there was just one part that was potentially libellous. I was OK with all the stuff that came out re MLA scandal. It was the last bit that was problematic. If there's some truth to it, I would love to track it down and report on it, but right now I'm not comfortable allowing that comment in the comments, without verification.
Also, this post is a sort of document in time- I was calculating voter turnouts using available info, before an official tally way released. So it's not exactly right to alter it to reflect new info.
For those interested, the now official results, including changes in the District 3 tally, see here:

Daniel, mayoral results are here:

Annoyingly, there are no grand totals, so you have to add each district total together.
Daniel AJ, please email details. timb@thecoast.ca
Percentage in each age group is the percentage of eligible voters in that age group who have voted.
I'm trying to calculate how 7:30-9 is more than three hours. Must be that new math.
A week ago Wednesday I took a date here. The downstairs was busy, so we had to sit upstairs. There was no heat, and as it was one of the coldest nights of the year, it was downright freezing. There were four tables seated upstairs, and all the diners were wearing their coats.
Worse still, the solitary server was overwhelmed, and service was extremely slow.
I wish I could report on the quality of the food, but frankly, the restaurant was too cold to give any objective opinion.
