I love Wicker Emporium. I used to work for them part time. Their products are great, the prices are very reasonable, and they bring in some really unique pieces. I especially love their textiles and furniture - they are definitely more than baskets and rattan!

I grew up on Allan St. and vividly remember taking my crappy bike to Jack Nauss week after week to put my chain back on. I was only 7 or 8 at the time. He was a legend in our neighborhood, everybody loved those guys.

Liz, nice article, but on behalf of the NSLC, I would like to advise that we haven't been a "Comission" since 2001, that we don't have bony claws, we don't practice persecution, and that our friends at the private wine stores are free to import almost anything they want, despite our "draconian restrictions". They serve a market niche quite well and we are always happy to work with them.
