The BC metal juggernaut is on tour in support of its fifth record Long Live Heavy Metal. Though Facebook is generally a subpar place to follow bands' activities---It goes Twitter, Tumblr, website, FB---3 Inches actually have a pretty awesome tour diary happening with awesome pics (drinking, driving, New York City weirdos) and statuses like "Albany ruled! Fucking ruled! Hotter than 666 Hells in the venue tonight. You know the chafe is better than the rash!" For those who find metal a little bit scary (over here), know that this is being played by a bunch of good-humoured dudes. Check it: facebook.com/threeinchesofblood.
Sunday July 1, Michael's Bar and Grill, 6100 Young Street, $17, ticketpro.ca
