Friends of the Owner are the worst kind of patron. I will give you extra sympathy to compensate for any derision foisted upon you from the regulars here who don't get it.

it'd be much easier with toonies and loonies.

I agree with Crayons. You have the option to go elsewhere and stop paying into the crooked system. That's what I want to do, just take my money and gtfoh. Takes some time and money, and usually some training because you can't just show up somewhere without anything to offer, but it can be done.
It's no secret, we work for the government, not the other way around. Not much you can do about it but go pay your taxes elsewhere.
Congratulations to Chefs Menu. Small but mighty. Glad you're here in Sackville. Donna Benoit
An assortment of used syrnges and razor blades dipped in fecal matter, scattered haphazardly amongst the bottles will provide a long term solution, depending on how long it takes for massive infection to set in.
For immediate results, try one of these:

Remember to double check the noise bylaws in your neighborhood before deploying MetalStorm. Like a good neighbor should.
Yeah, let's ban baseball bats while we're at it, and steel toed boots.. let's see what else. Chainlink? Crowbars? Kitchen knives?
All these things can be deadly in the wrong hands.
Didn't the trailer park boys teach you anything?
You can't go to jail for theft under 1000.
Best darn cheesecake in Halifax. Congratulations Sweethereafter, you deserve this! Wish you were here in sackville. Donna Benoit
I have severe misgivings about this deal with the devil approach that the NS government is taking. IBM is well documented to having dubious dealing with the American gov (re. the Patriot act) as well as atrocious treatment of older employees.
While we do need to build a strong IT sector in this province, there is simply no good that comes of signing over our soul in order to achieve it. The corruption that this kind of thinking spawns is going to be a disaster for our future.
I work in the IT sector in this city, and the overall attitude towards workers here is a disgrace. The large companies (most in the industry know who I mean) are allowed to operate with a ennobled sense of righteousness now. They abuse labor laws and pretend they are something other then what they are in order to get listed as "Canada's top 50 employers".
These companies need to be called on their lies and abuse of employees and immigrants, just as the government is being accused of making bad deals. We should be asking who broached this deal? Did IBM approach NSgov or did the gov actually think IBM was worth coveting. Those are the answers I want from the government documents. Most of what I read there is typical corporate BS lines.
True, but he says it in that smarmy, self-satisfied manner that Liberals adopt when they think you are too thick to recognize that they are condescending to you. His will be the ultimate triumph of style over substance in this country. Despite my loathing for the party, I have to admit that the closer to the political centre a party sits, the better they can govern. So, while I'll never vote for them, a liberal government may wind up being the best of a bad set of options. Watch the NDP morph into a sort of Bloc-Lite as they sacrifice principles to hold onto their Quebec seats. Watch the Greens grow in popular support as former Dippers decide that they prefer to separate their recyclables, not the nation. Watch Harper lead the Cons to one of the worst defeats since Campbell, and for the same reason. The gradual alienation of their own core sector of support.
Yup. Drawing cawks , next time.
How about:
HRM: We're Not Toronto Yet
People die each year from falling in the shower....
We need to ban these satanic, sanitation devices.
It's hard to imagine why so many people didn't listen to bob barker for all those years.
All three of these restaurants are good eating. Chefs Menu for a little something extra special, Tom's for hearty appetites and Hellas for their Seafood and home cooking. Never had a bad meal at either place.
Glad to see Darrell's finally dethroned by actual quality burgers!

Re: “To jail with you, Sir Bottle Bum”
Boo fucking Hoo! Your recyclables were taken by someone who doesn't make as much money as you! Whaaaaah! You'll find the culprit in the Hope Cottage line-up...
